The Zoot Art Gallery in Bozeman is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibit, “Exploring Line & Shape,” presented by artists Jill Johnson and Heather Cromwell.

Exploring Line & Shape: Jill Johnson & Heather Cromwel
Abstract artists Jill Johnson and Heather Cromwell unite for a dynamic exhibition that explores the expressive potential of line and shape.
Through their individual yet complementary practices they construct vibrant abstractions that evoke movement, depth, and subtle connections to nature. Color plays a central role, with harmonies and juxtapositions that create emotional resonance and visual intrigue. Line emerges as a mark-making element via skillfully applied, rhythmic brushwork. It delineates form, carves space, and leads the eye across dynamic compositions.
This collaborative showcase highlights the achievements of two accomplished abstract artists, offering a rich visual experience that is both intellectually engaging and aesthetically rewarding.
The exhibit will be on view from July 2nd 2025 – September 26th 2025 with a public opening reception Thursday July 24th from 5pm – 7pm at Zoot Enterprises.
