Partnership Guidelines

Strong Partnerships
for Mutual Growth

We’re thrilled to collaborate with you, and we’ve created these Partnership Guidelines to ensure our joint efforts lead to outstanding results. Zoot partners with numerous organizations, and these guidelines define the key principles for maintaining consistency in our brand identity throughout our collaborations.

Partner-led Marketing

When partnering with Zoot, co-branded materials should adhere to the partner’s brand identity. This means using the partner’s fonts, templates, color palettes, and other brand guidelines, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all their marketing materials. If a logo lockup is used, Zoot’s logo should be secondary.

Partners should create and present marketing materials in a manner that clearly represents their own brand and avoids any confusion about their relationship with Zoot. Misrepresentation of the partnership should be avoided in any marketing or branding efforts. In some cases, it might be appropriate to create two versions of a co-branded asset – one featuring the partner as the lead brand and another with Zoot as the lead brand.

When the partner is the lead brand, they are responsible for developing marketing materials and obtaining the necessary approvals from the Zoot partner team. This approach ensures a successful partnership while maintaining each brand’s unique identity.

Using Co-Brand Logos

When incorporating a co-branded logo into partner-led marketing materials, the partner’s logo should take precedence and be placed first. The lockup should adhere to the partner’s established conventions, templates, or guidelines for creating co-branded logos, ensuring consistency and alignment with their brand identity.

Writing Marketing Copy for Zoot

In some cases, communicating the partnership with Zoot may require more than just logo placement. When partners create content highlighting their collaboration with Zoot, they should adhere to these general guidelines:

  • Do This

When crafting content about the partnership with Zoot, it’s essential to consider the lead brand and write accordingly. For partner-led marketing efforts, the content should clearly indicate that the partner is leading the collaboration with Zoot.

  • Do This

It’s important to differentiate between “products” and “solutions” when discussing the partnership. Zoot offers specific products, while the combination of Zoot’s offerings with a partner’s product or service creates a comprehensive solution. When referring to the partner’s contribution to this collaboration, please use the term “solution.”

    • Don’t Do This

Do not abbreviate Zoot. When creating customer-facing materials, always use the full names for Zoot and its solutions. For example, use “Zoot Platform” instead of abbreviations like “ZP” or “Zoot Enterprises” instead of “ZE.” This practice ensures clarity and maintains consistency in how Zoot solutions are presented to customers.

To help you effectively communicate about your partnership with Zoot, we’ve created modular copy blocks for various marketing materials, such as website content, press releases, social media promotions, sales enablement resources, thought leadership content, and slide decks.

These examples can be used as is – with your partner information included- or as a starting point for incorporating your unique tone, style, and language preferences. We encourage you to adapt these copy blocks to best represent your partnership while maintaining consistency in how the collaboration is portrayed.
