The Zoot Art Gallery in Bozeman is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition, “A Purposeful Mess: Our Five Senses” on display from October 1 through December 30, 2026.
This special exhibition celebrates the creativity, curiosity, and unique perspectives of the children at Zoot Adventure Learning Academy (ZALA). Featuring artwork created in a variety of mediums, the goal is for the children to present their effortful pieces while inviting visitors to a sensory experience to see, explore, and engage with the world through the eyes of children.
At ZALA, we believe that art is innate to children of all ages. Creating, experimenting, touching, observing, and expressing themselves through art is natural and meaningful. ZALA believes that nurturing a child’s creative side is an important part of helping children develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong appreciation for creativity.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share our children’s art and creativity so publicly,” said Lauren Williams, Lead Teacher. “Seeing their work displayed in a professional gallery gives children a meaningful sense of pride and reminds them that their ideas, perspectives, and voices matter.”
The exhibit will be on view from October 1st through December 30th at the Zoot Art Gallery located at 555 Zoot Enterprises Lane near Four-Corners in Bozeman.
Zoot is committed to championing the Montana art community. The corporate exhibit space is open to the public and hosts rotating works by Montana artists for the enjoyment of employees and the community. The gallery has an expansive open area for sculpture and boasts over 100 square feet of vertical exhibit surfaces. One exhibiting artist described it as “…arguably the finest gallery space in the area.”
All work sold through the gallery is commission-free. The exhibits of Montana-only artists rotate approximately every three months and are selected by the Zoot Committee for the Arts.
