Zoot’s Innovative Approach to Childcare Shortage
Zoot Adventure Learning Academy (ZALA), a division of Zoot Enterprises, Inc., was featured on a recent newscast on CBS affiliate KBZK – Bozeman.
The story, “Bozeman company innovates childcare option for employees,” featured Zoot’s innovative approach to helping solve childcare challenges faced by Southwest Montana families. ZALA, the company’s on-site childcare, was started to provide a solution for Zoot employees and employees of other nearby businesses.
KBZK reporter, Jolee Sallee, interviewed Rebekah Nelson, Zoot VP of Employee Benefits Outreach, about Zoot’s commitment to helping alleviate some of the area’s childcare issues. “It’s to help out other businesses and create a solution to a childcare issue that is out there,” she said. “It’s not just a family issue, it’s not just the parents’ issue, it’s a business issue.” Nelson’s vision is to see the Zoot Adventure Learning Academy grow and expand.
“It’s not just about one company having on-site childcare, it’s one company helping carry the cost and other companies joining in,” she said. “I would love to see this go nationwide.”
