Giving Back

TO OUR COMMUNITY

The Zoot Philanthropy Mission

  • Zoot has been an incredible business partner to Thrive over the past 11 years. They have invested close to $30,000 into our local community through our programs that provide mentoring, education and support to children and families. Zoot is constantly looking at new ways to support local families through Thrive programs. Recently they have had employees attend our annual Drive for Thrive golf tournament, speak to the power of our programs at our fundraising events, and serve on our Board of Directors and Advisory Council.

Zoot recognizes the importance of community support and has developed a program to provide grants to nonprofit organizations in our area. The work we support in our philanthropy efforts includes a wide range of groups with focused emphasis on technology, entrepreneurship, direct assistance, and community character.

The mission of the Zoot Grant Committee is:

  • Improving the quality of life and community character in the Gallatin Valley and employee communities through direct assistance programs.
  • Supporting employee’s efforts in the community.
  • Reflecting the creative and entrepreneurial style of Zoot and demonstrating excellence in donor stewardship.
  • Dividing resources among a diversity of programs with a special emphasis of encouraging youth to pursue careers in technology.
  • Reinforcing Zoot’s marketing efforts.

Zoot’s Grant Committee comprises seven to ten Zoot employees from different departments. This committee meets quarterly and grants are awarded shortly thereafter. Zoot expects to award 10-20 grants each year. Most awards are between $100 and $1,000, although some exceed $2,000.
